Arnold House School has been very proud to sponsor old boys Luke and Jamie as they embark on the Atlantic challenge and have been following their progress every step of the way. Luke and Jamie first met at Arnold House in 1998 when they were 5 years old, becoming firm friends before leaving at the age of 13. What better testament to a School than to see boys such as Luke and Jamie turn into such well-rounded young men, determined to succeed and make a difference to people’s lives. Last term, Arnold House held a nautical themed charity day in order to raise money for Breast Cancer Care filling the School with sailors, pirates and even the titanic for a day. The event included a tuck shop and a raffle which was very well supported by the Arnold House community. In addition, the Parents Association raised money for the cause at the Christmas in the Courtyard event with a Santa’s grotto, mulled wine, tombola and
candy floss stalls. In total, the School has raised £9,310 for BCC in addition to sponsoring the boys on their journey. We wish the boys much luck as they embark on the last part of their challenge and look forward to their safe return to Arnold House!
